and Utah Red Beryl crystals. The rarest of all the Beryls

VARISCITE: A rare gem material found locally here in Northern Utah (western Box Elder County) It is only found in Utah and Arkansas in North America.
It is an Aluminum phosphate, formed from a hydrothermal intrusion of Variscite and associated minerals into brecciated quartz chert. Similar in color (but more green) and texture to Turquoise also a phosphate. The grey rock in the specimens is the chert.
