Roman Imperial Bronze & Silver Coins and Greek Silver Coins set in handmade 14 kt. yellow gold, & Sterling Silver with 14 kt. gold, pendant mountings.

Ancient coin is not as rare as one might think. 2500 years ago there were no Banks to keep your money in. Neither would you have locks on your doors and windows at home. If you were lucky enough to have some coin and did not want to carry it with you at all times, (not a good idea for safety reasons), you buried it! If you did not tell anyone where they were buried and something happened to you, they are going to stay buried for a long, long, time. Today when a construction project is undertaken in the lands of the Ancient Empires, it is not uncommon to find Coin Stashes and other artifacts.

Bronze and copper coin, (lower denomination coin), show the most wear because they were circulated the most.
The Gold and silver coins, (higher denomination coin), probably were not carried very often, they do not show as much wear.
